Hiring is tricky.
This chart isn't meant to solve hiring. Instead, I want you to consider that skill and ability to apply that skill are two very different things.
You might hire the best developer (or any role) in your city, yet their skill doesn't matter if it's not applied in the right way. Good product managers or discipline leads will help, but it'll never be perfect.
An employee's impact follows a simple formula: (skill)x(how/where to apply skill)=impact. Something to consider when you hire for your next role.
